CogniSaaS is a customer onboarding software for B2B SaaS companies serving mid-market/enterprise customers. We help CS/Onboarding teams deliver faster time-to-value for customers by driving collaboration with customers and internal teams (Sales, CS, and Product) on a single source of truth. 

We have raised pre-seed and seed rounds of VC funding, onboarded multiple enterprise SaaS companies as customers, and we are scaling rapidly!

Role: Sales Development Rep  

We are growing our team and hiring our ‘first’ team member in the inside sales function. It’s a career-defining opportunity to set up, scale this function and also build the inside sales team.

The SDR will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers globally. This role will involve outbound efforts such as researching and identifying key decision makers within target companies and then reaching out to them via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate interest in our product or service. The SDR will work closely with the Founders and Marketing team to help identify and qualify leads and will be expected to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Founders and Marketing teams to establish inside sales best practices, tools, and templates 
  • Take ownership of the outbound sales - cold emailing and cold calling
  • Identify and qualify potential customers globally 
  • Research and identify key decision-makers within target companies
  • Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to implement and execute prospecting strategies to increase market share
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities with potential customers via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate interest in our product or service
  • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs
  • Leverage CRM tools to record and maintain the sales pipeline

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University
  • 2 to 3 years of SDR experience
  • Successful track record of generating qualified prospects in the US and EU markets
  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
  • A desire to grow and advance a career in Sales
  • An intrinsic motivation to continually improve yourself through learning
  • Fast learner with high emotional intelligence and a positive attitude to figure out the solution for every problem and identify the opportunity in every challenge while working in a fast-growing startup environment 
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Product, Marketing, Engineering)
  • Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations and design effective processes
  • Experience implementing new processes and communicating them with internal teams
  • Travel to meet customers as needed
